Summer Plans /O\

When holidays start, really start, with exams finished and without classes and I am a free person, the first thing I’m going to do is sleep all I didn’t sleep during this year because of university. Then I’m going to watch all the series I haven’t  got the time to watch them, read mangas and get relaxed.  That is my dream.

I really don’t know if I'm going to a special place with my family this summer.  We usually go to El Tabo. We go to a friend’s house near the beach. We spend there one or two weeks, get relaxed, and then return to Santiago.

 I usually spend my summer in Santiago (there are many activities here, in Biblioteca de Santiago for example, so I don't get bored) but even if I won’t go anywhere with my family, I am going to travel this summer. I am going to La Serena, to my boyfriend’s house, but I don’t know how much time I will spend there, probably a week.  The only time I was there was when I was four years, so I don’t remember much about it. He must show me the entire city and all the typical things there.  And El Faro de La Serena, I only remember it is very tall.  But apart from that I only know I’m going there and I’m staying in his house.

 I also probably make a little trip with my closest friends, a weekend on the beach having girl’s time.

I hope study for university too. Read something related to my career.

About environment D:

Hi!! In this post, I will talk about environment D:

To be honest, I don’t know much about all these things, recycling etc. Unfortunately, I don’t consider myself as a "green person". Obviously, I try very hard to contribute in some little things. For example, I try to not use plastic bags, or if I had to, use them as much as I can. If I can, I try to recycle juice or milk cartons, and soft drink cans. But apart that, I don’t do really much about environmental care. 

 I think today is very easy for people learn about environmentally friendly practices. There are many websites of organizations that want to create awareness about environment. Although many people, included me, doesn't make time to learn this things that are really useful. This is a big challenge to us: change our minds in order to be aware about environment care. And really make things to collaborate.

There are people that is really into ecological organizations, and support or be part of Greenpeace (everyone knows Greenpeace jaja). I would like to join to an organization to create awareness about environment, but while I don’t be really conscious about what I’m using or buying, I think is very difficult and irresponsible.

In general, I think what is missing in our society is consciousness about what is our relationship with earth, with what is around us, and how don’t take care of it can affect us and affect people we love.

Free Theme!! :D

Hello everyone!

Since this is a free post, with a free theme, I am going to talk about one of my favorite things in the world: Music.

I don’t play any instrument, but music for me is what moves the world. I think that along with literature, music can concentrate the emotions of one person, with the power of keeping them calm and soft, or become them in a hurricane. When I search for music to listen, I always look for the most emotional I can find. It can be in the instrumental, or it can be in the lyrics or in the voice or in whatever. That is my only condition to listen to a song, really listen to it, not only for fun.  I think it is easier to find better lyrics than better instrumental, I mean something that sounds good to me. I really don’t have a special style of music to listen, I can vary between pop like Demi Lovato one day and then be extremely obsessed with death metal bands like Suicide Silence the next day.

One of my favorite songs is Self Conclusion by an American band called The Spill Canvas. Despite I found that the lyrics were amazing (you can check them if you want one day) the vocalist sings with such a painful emotional voice, that every time I listen to that song I close my eyes and concentrate on it. One song that produces me the same feeling is Ráptame del Fin, by Lucybell. Honestly, I don’t understand very well the lyrics, but I love Claudio Valenzuela’s voice, he makes songs very deep only singing.

My Career D:

Hi!!, today I am going to talk about my career.

 It was very difficult decide which career I wanted to follow. As a humanist in High School, one of my options was Law. I wanted to be a lawyer and collaborate to make justice in the world, but one of my options was also Anthropology, because I loved the idea of studying people. So here I am, studying Anthropology.  

To be honest, I have no idea of what kind of job I would like to have. It depends on what major I’ll take at the end of my second year. There are three possibilities: Social Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, and Archeology. I’m not sure which of them I will take, but at the moment, I have two options. First, I imagine myself like an archeologist. If I take this way, I will probably work in a museum, taking care of collections and some things like that. I would like to participate in an investigation, too. Traveling to places where there are archeological sites and contribute to investigate them.

My another option is to be a physical anthropologist, that because I spend much time watching television shows such as Bones, and I don’t know, I want to be a Dr. Brennan too. But seriously, I am very attracted to studying human beings from a biological perspective. If I take this way, I hope to work as a forensic anthropologist in a laboratory or in PDI.

But I don’t know, I have the rest of this year and all the next  to decide what I’m going to do ;)

Pets!

Hi every one! Today, I’m going to talk about pets.  

Sadly, I don’t have any pets. I used to have a cat called Sushi, and a dog called Diva, but I don’t have them anymore. But I really love animals, I need to give love to something and care about it. Maybe it is that I miss my past pets so much, but now I want another animal. I am very classy, so I prefer typical pets, not something like a snake (although snakes are very cool, in my opinion). I want a cat. I don’t care what kind of cat; I love every type of them.  I just want a cat.

Because in my family there are not pets now (after we lost the cat and the dog, it was very sad for all in my home) it was difficult to convince my mom of having another pet, but with my brothers we convinced my mom. A friend of one of my brothers has a pregnant cat, he will give us one of her babies when they be ready to be separated of their mom. Now we are expecting a cat for December. I’m so happy! I miss Sushi and Diva so much, but now I will give love to a little cat. If is male, he may be called Helsing (like Van Helsing), and if it is a female, she will be Zelda <3

Food :3

Hello everyone!!

So, I’m going to talk about food. Food is a little bit difficult issue to me, because I’m a vegetarian, but apart meat, I don’t eat any product which has a dead animal on it. I know, it can be weird, since I eat eggs and drink milk, but  for example, if the product has animal grease, I won’t eat it.

Being vegetarian has been very good for me, I tried a big variety of food, mostly normal things adapted to a vegetarian person. For example, I really love sushi, but I can’t eat normal sushi because it has fish, so I eat sushi with carrot or cheese. My favorite thing about being vegetarian is that I love try new things, so I always trying new food, obviously, without meat. But my favorite food ever always be spaghetti. I love spaghetti, with my life. I could eat it all day, every day. My mom make spaghetti with nuts. It’s amazing, I love it.

A concert

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite experiences. Last year, in May, I went to my first concert. I mean, I had been to other concerts before, but they were small gigs. The concert I’m talking about was the first big thing that I attended with one of my best friends. I saw Demi Lovato at Movistar Arena.  Demi is an American singer, she started at Disney, but now she has her own career as a successful artist. She does mainly pop music. She is such a good singer.

When I was about thirteen or fourteen years, I was a very big fan of her so when I had the possibility to see her in concert, I was so happy.

I remember the people that went too, they were so varied. Me and my friend talked with a girl three years younger than us, but   in general, the place was full of teenagers of our age (seventeen, eighteen) and parents with their children.

It was such an amazing concert. She sang songs of her last album at that time, but she also sang old songs. At that time, people still had Frozen fever, so when she sang Let it go the audience went wild.  I was so happy, and I will always be grateful with my friend for took me with her.
